Method 1: Dialing 334#

Dial *334# on your Safaricom line.

Select "Lipa na Mpesa".

Choose "Government services".

Login with PIN.

Select "Withdraw funds".

Choose "upkeep".

Enter withdrawal amount.

Send.

Wait for MPesa confirmation.

Method 2: Dialing *642# | Transferring Money from SurePay to M-Pesa via HELB USSD

Dial *642# on your safaricom registered line.

Enter your PIN.

Select "Withdraw funds".

Choose "upkeep".

Enter withdrawal amount.

Confirm.

Wait for MPesa confirmation.

Method 3: Using the MPesa App

Download and install Mpesa app.

Register with your MPesa phone number.

Login and navigate to "Services".

Choose "Education" then "HELB".

Agree to terms and register on HELB mini-app.

Verify registration via SMS code.

Withdraw funds from HELB wallet to MPesa wallet.

How to Register for Surepay in Kenya

If you are a HELB beneficiary, you can register for SurePay in Kenya by following these steps:

1. Download the SurePay App – Get the SurePay app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Sign Up – Open the app and enter your personal details, including your name, phone number, and email address.
3. Verify Your Account – You will receive a verification code via SMS or email; enter this code to complete verification.
4. Set Up a Secure PIN – Create a secure PIN that you will use to access your SurePay account.
5. Link to HELB – Navigate to the HELB section in the app and follow the instructions to link your HELB account for loan disbursement.
6. Confirmation & Activation – Once successfully linked, you will receive a confirmation message, and your HELB funds will be disbursed through SurePay when available.
