Sending money from MPESA to Access Bank Kenya (ABK) is easy, here is the simple process of how to deposit funds from MPESA to ABK bank account.
- Go to MPESA menu on your mobile phone's Sim tool kit.
- Then select Lipan na MPESA
- Choose the Pay Bill option.
- You will be prompted to enter ABK Bank Paybill number. (ABK Paybill Number is 862862).
- After inputting the paybill number, the next step is entering your account number. (When asked for your account number, please enter your 13-digit Access Bank Account number).
- Thereafter, enter the amount that you wish to deposit.
- After entering the amount you want to deposit, your phone will ask for your MPesa Pin.
Entering your M-Pesa PIN authorizes and confirms the deposit. It is thus important to be very keen and confirm the details that you have entered.
A confirmation code will then be sent to your phone with the details of the transaction for your reference. The code affirms that the deposit has been processed. Finally, you will receive a message from ABK bank notifying you of the transaction and the beneficiary, in this case it should be your name since you are the beneficiary.
