Why You Should Be Your Own Role Model

Opinions

Currently, I don’t have a role model, almost 80% of the people I used to look up to have disappointed me in one way another.

A good friend of mine used to tell me that you should never meet your role model and now I understand why.

It is always good when you take the lessons from a distance. Most of the time, when you meet the people that you used to admire you realize that it was just PR stunts and they do not have anything unique about them.

If you dig dipper into stories of the most prominent people you will find evil and insanity that you can’t hold in your heart.

Just imagine if P. Diddy or Shaggy were your role models, do you still look up to them?

There are so many crazy things that have come to light about these celebrities who were once loved by the masses that no one wants to associate with them anymore.

This is my opinion on why you should not have a role model
